We wholeheartedly believe that Black women need — and deserve — spaces intentionally created with our realities at the center. The complexity of our identities and the challenges we face demand solutions that are culturally rooted, community-led, and grounded in lived experience. Too often, mainstream approaches to change are generic and one-size-fits-all, erasing the nuances of our lives and leaving Black women overlooked. At Oshun’s Garden, we honor our traditions, wisdom, and ways of knowing as vital tools for healing, organizing, and building power — not things to be diluted.
