For Black women looking to be surrounded by joy, sisterhood, support, and a whole lot of love!
The inaugural Brunch in Oshun's Garden launched us into existence in 2019.
About the Brunch
The event came to life after our Founder noticed a need for intentional community-building and culturally-centered events exclusively for Black women on Maryland's Eastern Shore—without the need for professional or religious affiliation. A Brunch in Oshun's Garden is unique in that it is donation-based, making it one of the most accessible events of its kind. Each year it welcomes and affirms Black women of all backgrounds, sexualities, spiritual practices, income levels, abilities, and more to fellowship and share in each other's magic. While we make space for the heavy topics, we do our best to lead with joy and care, in the ways that only we can.

The movement portion of the event is facilitated by Whitney Brewington, owner of Fearless Action.
