An essential part of our work is education and outreach. It is our intent to increase awareness about issues facing Black women, improve knowledge and attuitudes about them, and mobilize the Black community and our allies to take an active role in defeating them.

We approach outreach activities in a number of ways:
  • Resource fairs and other local events
  • Awareness materials
  • Monthly e-newsletter
  • Ongoing development of our website
  • Trainings for youth groups, professionals, and other community members

Trainings, presentations, and workshops are aimed at building capacity and fostering a culture of respect. Each offering can be tailored to audience specifications in order to maintain an interactive experience and increase engagement.
